How does the service work? What is the procedure?

To get your teeth looking their best - the teeth you deserve - we have set up a simple procedure for you to follow. This will enable us to help you, get things moving and make your trip to the dentist as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. Just relax; you will soon be on your way to a better smile and a future with confidence.

Read on to see just how simple and stress-free our service is.

1. First and foremost, get in touch with us.
   We have forged links with an established dental surgery in west London,
   www.i-dent-cl.co.uk, who will be happy to carry out a consultation
   and an OPG x-ray for you.
   Leave it to us; simply, we will arrange your appointment.
   
   We strongly advise you to have a digital panoramic x-ray (an 'OPG' - see below). This is a pain-free process which will enable Dr. Dragan Dimitrijevic and his team in Belgrade to assess your needs prior to arrival.
   
   Our London practice collaborates with Dr. Dragan Dimitrijevic in Belgrade. Then, you can relax and let us do the work, as we forward your information to "Smile Dent" securely and in strict confidence.
   
   Don't forget, we will happily reimburse you £50 for your UK dental consultation.
2. Next, Dr. Dimitrijevic will contact you with an elementary plan and a brief cost of your treatment. Full accuracy can only be achieved when teeth and gums are personally examined. However, Dr. Dimitrijevic will guarantee 90% accuracy upon your request.
3. When you decide to go ahead, a deposit of 20% is required (payable to us in the UK) - the rest is payable at the Smile Dent practice by cash or credit card.
4. We will then arrange your appointments with our dental clinic and help you find cheapest flight.
5. Contact us with your accommodation requirements and we will book your hotel for you. Please read our Accommodation and Travel page for detailed information.
6. A member of our team will greet you at Belgrade international airport and drive you to your accommodation free of charge.
7. We will provide transport to and from the Smile Dent clinic throughout your stay - again, free of charge.
8. Between your dental appointments simply enjoy sightseeing, shopping and having fun in Belgrade.
9. We will provide you with maps, on-going events information, a credited sim card and be of assistance.
10. At the end of your trip, we will take you back to the airport - free of charge.

Important - Please Read

1. If you are not able to visit London easily, please arrange a visit to your local dentist for your UK consultation.
   (Our promise to reimburse you £50 still applies)
2. If you wish to bring a travelling companion we can arrange accommodation for two.
3. An Orthopantomogram (OPG), also known as an "orthopantogram" or "panorex", is a panoramic scanning dental x-ray of the upper and lower jaw. It shows a two-dimensional view of a half-circle from ear to ear.

Normally, the patient bites on a plastic spatula so that all the teeth, especially the crowns, can be viewed individually. The whole orthopantomogram process takes about one minute. OPG's are used by dentists to provide information on the following:

• Impacted wisdom teeth
• Periodontal bone loss
• Finding the source of dental pain
• Assessment for the placement of dental implants
• Orthodontic assessment

Panoramic dental x-ray examinations provide valuable information on what is happening beneath the visible oral tissues, details that our associate, Dr. Dimitrijevic, could not otherwise collect.
